Fertilizer Types

Our lawn fertilization treatments aim to provide your soil with as many nutrients as possible. We analyze the needs of your garden and develop a plan that suits your needs.

Our treatments are applied throughout the year in a 6-step program. At each visit we  determine the best course of action based on the condition of your lawn and review our plan with you. The final treatment of the year will be the application of a hardy fertilizer  designed to prepare and maintain your lawn as best as possible through the winter months.

  • Liquid Fertilization

    We spray a liquid fertilizer to coat your lawn with the nutrients it needs. This type of fertilizer provides a more even distribution and can help maintain your lawn’s pH by ensuring nitrogen levels are correct.

  • Granular Fertilization

    This is a dry fertilizer that is spread over your lawn. Unlike the fast-acting liquid fertilizer, the granular option has is time released into your soil. This option is best for older grasses with deeper roots.

    It’s important to receive the proper nutrients consistently throughout the year. Each application also offers different products in it such as pre-emergent, liquid dethatch, and aeration to get the best results throughout the year.

    Anywhere between 4-6 weeks

  • Should I Water my Lawn After Applications?

    If you want to see the best results watering your lawn within 24 hours of application will produce the best results.

    It’s recommended to stay off the lawn for at least an hour to give it time to dry.
